A little update...more later

I have been meaning to start this blog ever since the birth of my son Walden Banjo on 1/31/09, but the thought took a back seat as motherhood overwhelmed me. Being a new parent is the most wonderful experience I have ever had, and the biggest test of my nerves I have ever had. I have become more comfortable this past month with my new role and we have settled into somewhat of a routine. Bill is working from home and for himself, so he is around quite a bit and I (having lost my job with the state 2 days before Christmas and 8 months pregnant might I add) will be returning to school on Monday (all online classes of course) to pursue my nursing degree. As I write this Walden is sleeping on our bed with Oprah in the background and Bill is playing his guitar in the living room. This is the typical scene if you were to enter our house at any given hour. Well thats my life in nutshell right now. I wasn't sure what to write as my first entry, but I will be sure to update this as much as possible to let everyone know how we're doing. Until then, enjoy the weather and be good to each other ;)
